NETWORK STATUS:

8/11/10 8:00pm:
Service has been restored.

8/10/11 6:00pm:
Engineers are replacing their Automatic Transfer Switch from a backup source. This maytake another 2 hours.

8/10/11 3:00pm:
...well, here we go again - Since last October, we've been at 100% uptime, but around 1:00pm today the Server Farm in Dallas lost power, and their transfer switch to redundant power failed.

This is actually not a 3Essentials problem, but rather the Data Center used who provide the data storage, called Colo4 (www.colo4.com) you can follow the progress at that location. They DO have a huge generator and 30 hour fuel supply supplying 2000 amps at 480 volts - but this is a serious system, and anytime there is dependancy on a piece of equipment, there is a potential for critical failure regardless of redundant systems in place.

This affects websites, FTP and emails.

8/10/11 1:15pm:
Server is down - Techs are aware of it. This outage is affecting the entire Server Farm, not just WebEFX - they are looking for a solution.

10/12/10 4:00pm:
UPDATE

After over 6 days of downtime and very little contact with us, my (old) server farm had gotten back up minutes ago. But after 4 days of waiting, frustrated and in the dark, I contracted with a new Server Farm, and began the tedious process of porting over your sites to this new server. Most of my retail clients have been back up and running starting yesterday through today. The rest all came back up with the service restoral out of Fayetteville. Those, too, will be removed from that server and activated at my new location.

Please check your sites and report any feature failures. Emails require new settings in your outlook - instructions can be gotten online at my EMAIL PAGE (Use a full-size browser).

I'll be in touch with you all in the next day or so. - Jay
